what a year, right???? @___@ thank you <3 for still signing up for this exchange and for writing something for me!! i hope you've been alright this year. take care, okay? 

here's some general info about my preferences :3 

dislikes;

casual sexism, like a character being embarrassed about their crush and saying they're "acting like a teenage girl", making it seem like that's a bad thing, etc.

homophobia being present, i prefer it to be handwaved away in most cases, unless you'd like to tackle it seriously! i do think dealing with a character's internalized homophobia or perhaps homophobia from their family and whatnot can be interesting, but i don't really care for just casual mentions of "oh, there's no way he could like a boy" and whatnot. 

any sort of rape, noncon or dubcon. general consent issues, like drugging or alcohol, etc.

infidelity. 

second person pov.

likes;

soulmate aus of nearly any kind intrigue me a lot! i'm a huge sucker for the ones involving words, though, whether those be the words your soulmate says to you at some point or even just a quote or something that really speaks to the relationship, maybe lyrics? those can be so profound and lovely.

non-sexual intimacy. i love anything that really explores the details of how two people have gotten close to each other, the ways they've blended into each other's lives. clothes being left at the other person's home or specifically buying snacks because they know the other person loves it, etc. are so sweet to me and can be so unique. of course, physical affection and intimacy in that sense is wonderful, too, but i love the emotional/practical displays of intimacy the most.

mutuality is big for me! i love when relationships are balanced; they don't necessarily have to express things the same way, but i love when it's clear that they feel equally about each other, and no one is wondering whether they're more invested than the other person. 

location-specific information! it's so fun for me to read a fic that's clearly set somewhere specific, especially when the author has familiarity with it, so it feels very authentic and realistic; specific stores or mentions of features of the area, things like that. 

communication. i don't really enjoy miscommunications or passive-aggression. i really like to read about people tackling issues together and deciding how to work through them. even for positive things, too! figuring out how they want their relationship to work, talking about their individual needs and wants, etc. 

i also have a huge soft spot for regency aus and all, that stuff that has really formal courtship processes and slowburn, but that's probably too much for chocobox haha 

and then, about nsfw... 

nsfw is fine to include! but please don't feel like you have to. more than anything i love to read about kisses and emotions; an emotional, passionate make out scene can be 10x as hot as an actual sex scene in my opinion. if you DO choose to include some nsfw, i'll be honest and say that i lean pretty much exclusively vanilla. :') i love femdom, some mild d/s and light bondage, but again, i'm really in it for the feelings. if there's a woman present, though, i strongly prefer for the focus to be on her and what she's feeling and what's being done to her. 

i'm very fond of "realistic" nsfw scenarios, where the preparation matters, safe sex is practiced, etc. consent is sexy, of course. i also enjoy sex NOT actually happening, whether they end up just talking and laughing and get distracted or one person isn't actually in the mood and they decide to just cuddle or do something else entirely. 

more intense kinks are sort of on a pairing-by-pairing basis, but i definitely always want everything to be 100% consensual and enjoyed by both parties.

SamaIchi:

obviously these two are so similar and that's played for laughs a lot, but i also really enjoy that they're a lot alike in terms of their circumstances and all. i think for both of them, it was probably a relief to meet someone who understood the lengths they would go to for their siblings and having to take care of a younger sibling after losing parents, etc. because of that, samaichi has always felt like a really "comfortable" ship to me? like, i feel like they can relax with each other and actually open up. plus, their sauna quiz song makes me think they're both just big nerds? i like to imagine them both on wikipedia for hours looking up random trivia lmao. so i'd love to see fic for them that's just -- softer? established relationship, ideally, with them just hanging out and leaning on each other a little. <3

GiyuuShino:

i really enjoy the contrast between the two of them! the differing ways that they'd coped from their losses, and how it's very possible that shinobu's heart is pretty closed off to romance because of the amount of anger she holds... but in a happier au, maybe she finds him endearing? giyuu awkwardly trying to court her? giyuu trying to win over kanae and kanao too? tanjrou and co. kind of nudging them together because they can tell that giyuu and shinobu really care for each other? 

ObaMitsu: 

please give these two the happy ending they deserve!! if you'd enjoy it, i think a reincarnation au sort of thing with them could be particularly touching -- obanai being so determined to confess his feelings this time... but perhaps, even though he didn't think so, mitsuri also has her memories? and her feelings never changed ;w; even though he thinks he wasn't worthy of her... 

MafuYama:

as i said on the sign-up page, i'm really just ;; so invested in the way that mafuyu slowly manages to deal with his feelings for uenoyama, moving past the guilt he might have about moving on, whether he continues to write songs about yuki, how uenoyama feels about that, etc. the development of their relationship, the way they navigate yuki's presence in mafuyu's heart, the process of getting to create new memories together... like, mafuyu took uenoyama to the water to confess to him, since that was "a good date spot" and all, that clearly mattered to him ;w; so what other things from he and yuki's relationship does he try to recreate and experience with uenoyama, too? things like that!! i'm so invested in it and how bittersweet it would be.

lmao like i said, go wild with this one! my dislikes still apply ; ; but they definitely seem to do some pretty intense stuff, so if it strikes your fancy to write that out, "chase your bliss" as the kids say!! on the other hand, though, i'd be equally as thrilled to see some of their more tender moments. they're both traumatized from immortality and from the worlds they had to get out of, like the logic error for bern, so finding comfort and steadiness in each other could be lovely, too.

now for the specific fandoms!! alphabetized for ease, hopefully. 

bang dream!: 

pastel palettes; or as i like to call it, pasupoly. i'm the one who added this absurd tag for all five girls together, but please they are all so sweet ; o ; can't they all be dating cutely and have soft cuddle piles and go on dates both in duos and as a group? it's fine if some of them are closer than others (like aya and maya, they are so supportive of each other!) but i love the entire group's dynamic. don't feel like you need to hash out the details of how they all got together or how the entire polyamorous situation works, though that'd be fun, too! but maybe stressful lol. 

tomoe/himari; i actually would really enjoy someone tackling the idea of internalized homophobia with this ship. there's that loading comic where himari says that if tomoe was a guy, she would never let her go, and tomoe says she's heard that a million times before. i'd love to see himari as a closeted lesbian who's dealing with her feelings for tomoe, who's very open about being a lesbian and has known for a long time that she's interested in women, who's been nursing what she thinks is an unrequited crush on himari for years. if that approach is upsetting, then it's also totally fine for them to just be sweet in an established relationship; hanging out, shopping, practicing instruments together, whatever you want! including ako and himari spending some time together could be fun, too! 

bleach:

byakuya/hisana; please... i know that it's canon she didn't really reciprocate his feelings, but i'll give anything for an au where she didn't have to die ;; and she did end up loving him back... the slow process of that, even, as she starts to fall for him, they settle into their marriage... and then hisana getting to reunite with rukia? ;__; 

ulquiorra/orihime; this is an extremely self-indulgent au, and it's a major au at that lol, but i wish... that ulquiorra lived...!! and how hallibel became queen of las noches??? please make ulquiorra the ruler of it and make orihime his queen,,, ideally she's happily fulfilling that role; maybe not entirely? but she's attached to ulquiorra now, has feelings for him, and she cares about the arrancar some as well. i think i'm basically asking for something beauty and the beast-esque, actually lol. 

dangan ronpa v3:

korekiyo/angie; i don't even know what to ask for, i just saw fanart once of them sort of all over each other covered in blood and i can't lie, i was incredibly intrigued. i'm fine with a more fluffy interpretation of things in a more normal setting, too, or something that explores how twisted both of them kind of were. blood, breathplay, some more intense bondage, wax play, all totally acceptable, too, if you go a nsfw route! 

kaito/maki; i would love, more than anything, a regular hope's peak au for them... they're in the same class or something and kaito is... well, himself, and maki is herself, but somehow ends up fond of him anyway. you don't have to go through all the details of that, though! i'd just like them to be able to date happily. my dream is maki wearing his jacket or something like that, kaito seems like he might be a pretty good, but cliche, boyfriend. :) i'd love for them to cuddle; whatever point this in their relationship is up to you, of course, but a stargazing date or something, too, could be precious. 

ensemble stars: 

shuu/nazuna; just about anything that's fluffy with these two will make my day. any time is fine, too, though i do think stuff set after they've reconciled is especially sweet. i just feel like there's a huge lack of them kissing (perhaps even getting a little handsy!) and being an actual couple. 

izumi/leo; post-graduation would be my ideal!! i'd like to see them move in together and all, deal with their various issues/eccentricities, decide what they want to do after high school...! leo can drive and izumi's pretty responsible, so i feel like they're actually fairly prepared for adulthood? but an exploration of that would be so neat. otherwise something set after starfes where they've pretty much made up and might want to try actually dating this time around would be lovely. 

yuzuru/touri; i think this ship is really underappreciated! i sort of understand why, since touri's made out to be such a baby in canon a lot of the time, but i'd love to see yuzuru's feelings towards touri somehow come to light? his jealousy and how attached he is, etc. and how touri feels about that? talking about how touri's tried really hard in some ways to give yuzuru some more "normal" experiences? maybe even touri having some struggle because he knows he shouldn't fall for his own butler! 

fire emblem:

ryouma/azura; i beg of you to read their supports!! they are SO sweet. ryouma was so lovely to her and i think of them both as such responsible, duty-focused people, so the idea of them having both pined over each other for so long... ;; i would love to have married fluff with them, maybe a lazy day that they spend in bed still. the idea of hand holding between them always makes my heart hurt, especially. nsfw for this ship would make my month lol, but more than anything it'd just be nice to see the two of them heal each other's loneliness. 

nina/ophelia/soleil; my preference with this is for ophelia and soleil to have an already established relationship and then work out adding nina to things! i'd definitely like it to be emotional rather than just physical, too. i love poly situations, so i'm really interested in seeing soleil and ophelia handle the idea that they've both fallen in love with someone else as well -- whether they both felt an attraction to her and decided to pursue that on purpose or whether they both fell in love with nina separately is up to you! but then how they ask nina to be with them, too, would be so cute to see! 

hypnosis mic:

jakurai/ramuda; please sir can i have some fluff 

(no, really, that's all i want. kisses and snuggles, please, my crops are dying...) 

but on a serious note, there was a comic that went around with the premise that ramuda was blackmailed (by someone in chuuouku, probably?) into breaking up with jakurai pre-canon, so i'd be delighted to see anything with that premise, too... the comic didn't explain WHY, as far as i remember, but just... the two of them still having feelings for each other, perhaps ramuda finally being able to explain that it wasn't really his choice to end things... 

samatoki/ichirou; Please Sir Can I Have Some Fluff

i believe so strongly in samatoki being the best boyfriend ; o ; he saw his father's behavior and decided he wanted to be as different as he could be, so he's really loving and gentle, which is unexpected to some people! but he definitely watches anime with ichirou and embarrasses himself trying to play video games (maybe he's unexpectedly good at one, though?), things like that... and bonus points for them interacting with each other's siblings! 

ramuda&ichirou&jakurai&samatoki; please give me that sweet, sweet angst. my dream fic with them would be something that covers how intertwined they used to be? the ways they were involved in each other's lives and what they used to do together, and then how empty things sort of feel now that they don't have that. even with their friends in their new divisions, it doesn't fill that same space. 

idolish7: 

gaku/tsumugi; this is sort of western (american?)-centric, but i love the "celebrity power couple" angle with gakutsumu soooo much. maybe in a few years when tsumugi's career is a bit more established so that she doesn't deal with as many nasty implications in the press. gaku refuting anything negative said about her, though, and being her #1 fan! it's totally up to you whether it would be more fun to handle this idea from their perspective or from an outside perspective through the media itself, but i think it'd be cute to have a bunch of different moments that they were "caught" by the paparazzi and their relationship is talked about, maybe they do interviews, etc.! 

gaku/tsumugi; a roleswap would be super cute and fun, too! tsumugi is the idol and gaku is a manger at his dad's company...!

tamaki/sougo; please go listen to "ame" and TRY to tell me that that song isn't about the two of them... i just want to see sougo pining through his song lyrics ;; i don't mind whether tamaki realizes that sougo's writing about the two of them himself or needs some help from the other members of idolish7 (or ryuu!!), but i would love to see him reciprocate somehow. maybe on one of their trips that they have to take just the two of them? 

nagi/mitsuki/yamato; nsfw for this, please!! though it doesn't have to be very explicit. i would love to see their first time together as a trio, which i figure may end up slightly disastrous... nagi is silly, mitsuki gets so flustered, yamato is lowkey panicking about emotional intimacy, maybe... but a lot of focus on the love and admiration they all have for each other. ;; whether two of the three have had sex with each other beforehand is up to you, and whether they actually succeed in having a threesome is also up in the air lol, but i'd love to see them try!
